Kyiv, Ukraine — November 5, 2025 — Duvi Honig, Founder and CEO of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, delivered a keynote address to Members of the Ukrainian Parliament and leading international policy experts at a high-level forum organized by the Ukrainian Association of Lobbyists and GR Specialists. The event focused on strengthening Ukraine’s regulatory framework for lobbying, enhancing transparency, and rebuilding investor trust as the country advances its national reconstruction.
The program convened lawmakers, international advisors, and global business leaders dedicated to establishing ethical standards that support responsible cooperation between government, private enterprise, and civil society.
Honig Highlights the Need for Integrity, Oversight, and Trust
In his keynote remarks, Honig stressed the urgent importance of integrity and accountability when engaging with the United States and global investors. He emphasized that Ukraine’s long-term economic success hinges on trust — trust in its representatives, trust in its institutions, and trust in its commitment to transparency.
Honig proposed the creation of a government-appointed oversight panel that would certify and monitor individuals or organizations claiming to represent Ukraine in reconstruction or investment-related matters. Such a framework, he noted, would deter misrepresentation, strengthen Ukraine’s global credibility, and instill confidence among investors.
“Ukraine’s economic future depends on trust — trust from its partners, trust from global investors, and trust in the integrity of those speaking on its behalf,” said Honig. “By establishing clear oversight mechanisms and adopting ethical standards, Ukraine can ensure that transparency and accountability remain the foundation of its rebuilding efforts.”
Discussion on Ukraine’s Draft Law on Lobbying
Participants examined Ukraine’s Draft Law on Lobbying, reviewing international best practices and the reforms needed to build a reliable, transparent, and effective lobbying framework. Honig contributed a global economic and investor-focused perspective, underscoring the importance of creating systems that prevent conflicts of interest and protect Ukraine’s reputation.
