Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce and GNYCC host Women’s History Month Award Ceremony in NYC

A joint event to honor Women’s History Month was hosted by the Orthodox Jewish and Greater New York Chambers of Commerce in General Society Library Times Square NYC.

The crowd of over 150 who assembled in the General Society Library at Times Square included many city and community leaders and activists. The attendees were there to honor seven female leaders and to avail themselves of important networking opportunities, including exhibits from minority-owned businesses.

The honorees represented the best of female leadership in the political and business worlds.

The chambers recognized Acting New York State Supreme Court Justice Ruchie Freier; Senior Advisor to NYC’s OATH Commissioner Rachel Amar; NYC Department of Veterans' Services Chief of Staff Cassandra Alvarez; JPMorgan Chase & Co. V.P.-Sr. Business Consultant Jumoke ‘Joy’ Fagbayi-Butts (C.S.B.C.); Westchester CountyDirector of Operations Joan McDonald; and LaGuardia Community College Provost Dr. Billie Gastic Rosado.

 
Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce President Duvi Honig emphasized to the attendees it’s about recognizing the accomplishments of exceptional women and celebrating diversity highlighting the chamber's mission to all.
