Mike Huckabee Appointed as U.S. Ambassador to Israel
The Chamber is particularly proud to recognize the appointment of Mike Huckabee as the new U.S. Ambassador to Israel. Over the past decade, Huckabee has proven to be a significant partner, having participated in the Chamber's influential delegation to Israel in 2017. This mission included a notable session at the Knesset and a Gala Dinner at the King David Hotel hosting Israel’s Knesset members and Ministers, which played a pivotal role in fostering and being credited for establishing new improved relations between the U.S. and the Israeli government during a time of strained relations between the Obama and Netanyahu administrations. The mission's impactful visits to Yehuda Vshomron and its enterprises were well-documented by CNN and other major media outlets, highlighting its significance.
