The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce extends its heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed friend George Helmy on his recent appointment by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy to serve as interim Senator, following Bob Menendez's resignation later this month.

 

George Helmy has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the economic and social well-being of New Jersey and the Jewish Community. Since 2015, he has played a pivotal role in collaborating with the Chamber's leadership helping draft legislation together with the chambers founder Duvi Honig introducing New Jersey Economic Development Day legislation. His partnership has been integral in driving initiatives aimed at enhancing the state's economic landscape.

 

 

Upon his appointment as Chief of Staff for Governor Phil Murphy, George continued to work closely with the Chamber, fostering a productive relationship that has significantly benefited the business community and beyond.
