Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce Engages with Ford, Amazon, European Investment Bank, and Mastercard for Jbiz Expo 2024

 

Sharing NJ State Initiatives that will be featured at JBIZ EXPO with Chris Smith, Chief Government Affairs Officer, Ford Motor Company

In a landmark move toward fostering economic growth and community unity, the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce recently held high-level discussions with leading figures from some of the world's most influential organizations. The chamber's leadership met with Chris Smith, Chief Government Affairs Officer at Ford Motor Company; Jon Huntsman, Vice Chairman and President of Strategic Growth at Mastercard; Dave Levy, Vice President of Amazon Web Services; and Ambroise Fayolle, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank. The central focus of these meetings was to invite these prominent leaders to participate in the upcoming Jbiz Expo 2024, set to take place on December 10, 2024, at Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
 
Duvi Honig, the visionary founder of the Jbiz Expo, spearheaded the discussions, emphasizing the event’s core mission: "Using Commerce to Bring Communities Closer Together." Honig elaborated on the Expo's potential to unify diverse communities, drawing attention to the significant role of commerce in bridging societal gaps.

During the meetings, Honig highlighted the Expo’s global reach, underscoring its role in hosting US World Trade Week NYC on behalf of the United States. In a significant announcement, Honig revealed that the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce has successfully collaborated with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to create a new division within the Department of Commerce. This division aims to empower chambers of commerce and minority groups across the United States, fostering inclusive economic prosperity.
 
Furthermore, Honig showcased the chamber's instrumental role in the introduction and passage of the NJ Economic Development Day legislation, signed into law by the Governor. This legislation underscores the chamber's commitment to driving economic development and nurturing diverse business relationships.
