Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce Fosters Stronger Ties with NY NJ Customs Director Jeffrey Green and Team

In a strategic meeting at Newark Airport headquarters, representatives from the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce convened with Jeffrey Green, the esteemed Port Director of NY NJ Customs, accompanied by his dynamic Chief of Staff, David Quinones. The purpose of this meeting was to reinforce the Chamber's existing partnership with NY NJ Customs and explore new avenues for collaboration, particularly concerning US Border and Customs controls.

The discussions focused on enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation, with a particular emphasis on cultural diversity. Both parties expressed a commitment to working together more closely to streamline processes, reduce bureaucratic red tape, and create more opportunities for individuals and businesses within the Orthodox Jewish community.

"Establishing clear pathways for collaboration is essential to ensure our community members have seamless experiences when engaging with border and customs operations," stated Duvi Honig, Founder and CEO of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce. "We have a remarkable relationship with Jeffrey Green and his team, and we appreciate their dedication to supporting our community, especially in critical situations."

The meeting also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of JFK Customs, under the leadership of John R. Carson, in working with the Chamber on a personal basis. These ongoing collaborations are seen as instrumental in breaking down barriers and providing essential assistance to those in need.

The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce remains committed to fostering strong partnerships that benefit its members and the broader community, ensuring that issues are addressed effectively and efficiently. As they continue to strengthen the foundations of their relationship with NY NJ Customs the chamber works closely with CBP leadership in Washington D.C Commissioner Troy Miller whom the chamber recently honored at its world Trade Week NYC Convention.
