The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of participating in a historic event, the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in Washington DC. It was an honor to meet with his Excellency Ambassador Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa and to celebrate the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC.

 

As an organization that is committed to fostering peace and prosperity in the region, we were deeply moved to be able to show our support for Bahrain's stance in supporting the Abraham Accord. The Abraham Accord, signed in 2020, marked a significant moment in history as it normalized relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco. It was a monumental step towards peace and dialogue in the Middle East.

During our visit to Washington DC, we had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with leaders from Bahrain and other nations, showcasing our shared commitment to promoting stability and understanding in the region. This experience was a powerful reminder of the potential for collaboration and cooperation to bring about positive change.
