In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce together with the GNYCC will host a Cocktail Reception on March 28th at the NYC Times Square General Society Library to honor and recognize Joann J. Hill, the Chief Director of the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) at the US Department of Commerce. Joann Hill has been pivotal in promoting business development, access to capital, contracts, and emerging markets for minority-owned businesses across the United States. Her work has had a significant impact on the growth and success of minority businesses. By recognizing and honoring Joann J. Hill and other successful female leaders, the Chamber aims to connect the community with MBDA leadership and empower minority-owned businesses to drive change and innovation in commerce.
The evening will showcase an Awards Ceremony, starting with a BY INVITE ONLY VIP Round Table followed by a Cocktail Reception and Networking event where participants will have the opportunity to connect with government leaders, network with other business professionals, and gain insights and inspiration from successful women in the industry. This event serves as a platform to celebrate the achievements of Joann J. Hill and other remarkable women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.
The Chamber, having strong relationships with government agencies, such as the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), helps its members and partners access government contracts, loans, financing, and other resources.
Joann Hill has been instrumental in overseeing the Office of Business Development and leading the federal program officer for a nationwide network of MBDA Business Centers.
Her working closely together with the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce in promoting business development, access to capital, contracts, and emerging markets for minority businesses throughout the United States has been exceptional and has had a significant impact on the growth and success of minority-owned businesses.
By honoring and recognizing Joann J. Hill on Women’s History Month together with other successful female leaders, The Chamber will help introduce and connect the Community with MBDA leadership to help Minority owned businesses and future generations succeed in advancing the benefits of MBDA for their own local businesses empowering them to continue driving change and innovation in the world of commerce.
It’s no secret how in the world of commerce, women have played a significant role in shaping the business landscape and driving economic growth. Their leadership, innovation, and determination have been instrumental in driving change and creating opportunities for success and the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize those at its the helm of its leadership and help others achieve similar success by granting others access to the highest levels of its Directors.
The evening will not only celebrate Joann J. Hill’s achievements but also honor other remarkable women who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.
