US Department of Commerce Appoints Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce as World Trade Week NYC Partner
Thanks to the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce’s leading role in advancing trade and its strong presence in annual activities to promote trade during World Trade Week, the US Department of Commerce has made the Chamber a partner in World Trade Week NYC. World Trade Week NYC has an active network of more than 70 organizations in the New York metro region and will celebrate World Trade Week throughout the month of May, offering a full agenda of educational seminars and global business networking events.
“We’re excited to be recognized as a leading force in this part of the country,” says Duvi Honig, founder and CEO of the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce. “We’ll be working together with prominent trade organizations in the region to influence trade and strengthen our economic development.”
The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its flagship World Trade week event in NYC on May 18 where it will bring together heads of trade from all levels of government, from local to international. The Department of Commerce will be promoting the event on behalf of the Chamber.
