
The anticipation for the upcoming J-Biz Expo 2024 was palpable as a distinguished crowd of VIPs and dignitaries gathered at the elegant Georgian Court University Mansion. The prestigious black-tie event marked the official launch and set the stage for what promises to be a landmark event in the business calendar.


Bringing together a high-profile assembly of business leaders, politicians, and J-Biz partners, the evening began with a dynamic networking session. Guests were treated to an exquisite wine tasting by Ace of Wines featuring Noble Wines and a lavish kosher buffet, generously sponsored by Kosher Village Catering Services. The event’s ambiance was exquisitely relaxed and friendly, establishing the perfect groundwork for the main Expo event scheduled for December 9- 10th at the Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City.
The guest list boasted an array of influential figures, including Senator Bob Singer, Senator Carmen Amado, the newly appointed Director of Business Development for Choose NJ Mr. Andy Kuhn, Tom Bracken, President of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, Sandra Lazzaro of Ocean County Business Development, Gregory Kirsopp from the New York State Assembly and event Host Dr. Joseph R. Marbach, President of Georgian Court University. These were complemented by other prestigious guests and esteemed corporate members of the chamber.
The evening commenced with an insightful tour of the historic mansion, followed by a sophisticated cocktail reception. Attendees enjoyed a hot buffet accompanied by a kosher wine tasting, fostering an environment ripe for meaningful connections and discussions.

Dr. Joseph R. Marbach, in his opening remarks, applauded the new partnership forged between Georgian Court University and the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce. He emphasized the significant value this collaboration brings to the university, enhancing its programs and empowering the Georgian Court team to achieve greater outreach and influence.


Adding to the evening's discourse, Andy Kuhn, Director of Business Development for Choose NJ, highlighted the impactful partnership between the chamber and Choose NJ. He spoke passionately about their shared vision and commitment to empowering New Jersey businesses, expressing enthusiasm for their continued collaboration.

The evening's keynote speaker, Tom Bracken, the President of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and a partner of Jbiz, delivered an electrifying speech. With palpable enthusiasm, he praised Duvi Honig, highlighting him as the most admirable and inspiring leader he has encountered over his long career. Bracken elaborated on how transforming a vision into reality demands relentless effort and determination—qualities that Duvi exemplifies consistently. He shared that during their many lunches, Duvi would lay out a vision and then execute it flawlessly.
Bracken emphasized the significance of the forthcoming Jbiz Expo, illustrating the immense opportunities it presents for every participating business. The event promises to create a vast network involving all partners in attendance, which is crucial for boosting New Jersey's economy. Duvi Honig, the founder of Jbiz, spoke about the expo's potential for revitalization and rebranding. He described the chambers vast networks and partnerships with its recent launch of a New Department in U.S Department of Commerce in partnership with U.S Secretary of Commerce as well as its Chairmanship of U.S World Trade Week, expanding Jbiz’s ability to help businesses expand their reach within their communities, and beyond offering what he calls a "Higher Level of Networking."

Additionally, both the Presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and Choose NJ leadership pledged from the podium to curate an exceptional lineup for the Jbiz Business Conference. The conference aims to unite the upper echelons of New Jersey’s business world, incorporating sectors such as life sciences, AI, technology, FIFA opportunities, and the burgeoning film industry. Also featured will be governmental programs and international partnerships.

Gregory Kirsopp from the New York State Assembly who traveled from New York City presented the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce with a proclamation on behalf of the state of New York, underscoring the event's significance as a national and international gathering that bridges New Jersey, the Tri-State area, and beyond.

At the conclusion of the event, Kenneth M. Karamichael, Associate Vice President for Professional Studies and Business Development, shared exciting news about a new internship initiative. This program, launched in collaboration with the Orthodox Jewish Chamber and Georgian Court University, aims to empower students by providing training in political science and business development. Under the guidance of the chamber's founder, Duvi Honig, this initiative seeks to bridge educational and professional experiences for young scholars. Karamichael also extended his gratitude to the Chamber for inviting Georgian Court University students to participate in the JBiz Expo Conference. This invitation opens doors for students to explore the business world and gain invaluable insights.
