In a significant move to underscore the state's commitment to economic growth, Governor Phil Murphy has signed a joint resolution proclaiming the second Monday in May as “Economic Development Day.” This initiative, introduced by the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce alongside Senator Bob Singer, calls on public officials, business leaders, and New Jersey residents to come together annually. The intention is to organize and participate in events dedicated to discussing job creation, enhancing economic resilience, and optimizing development programs, all aimed at empowering communities and sustaining economic growth.
