Press Release: NYC Public Advocate Forum "Thoughts for a Future New York City'"

On February 12th, 2019, the top twelve candidates in the race to fill the Public Advocate seat recently vacated by Letitia James, after winning her bid for New York Attorney General, will attend a public forum co-hosted by the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, Greater New York Chamber of Commerce and New Democratic Dimensions. 

The event will be held from 5:00PM-7: 00 PM within The “Historic” Coffee House Club, 20 West 44th Street, on the 6th floor of the General Society Building, in midtown Manhattan. 

The candidates who will be in attendance are as follows (listed alphabetically by last name):   Manny Alicandro, Michael Blake, David Eisenbach, Rafael Espinal, Ron Kim, Nomiki Konst, Ydanis Rodriguez, Dawn Smalls, Erich Ulrich, Melissa Mark-Viverito, Jamaane Williams, and Benjamin Yee.

 

The event will feature each candidate outlining their vision of the future of New York City should the be elected Public Advocate. The candidates will respond to questions submitted to or written by our panel over a five minute period per candidate.
